Especially for seniors, maintaining or even improving mental function is not only fun, but fundamentally crucial, in order to live a long, active and productive life. The BrainWaves website is chock full of interesting things to do and read; in addition to their interactive puzzles (which even show you the parts of your brain being stimulated by each exercise), there is an excellent picture of the brain (with detailed descriptions around the figure), a brain-related glossary, a newsletter, links to books, and more.
